미국에서 아치에 Precast 공법을 처음으로 적용한 교량 Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge.

일반적으로 Arch에 적용되는 spandrel column(상부 슬래브와 아치를 연결하는 기둥)이 없는 독특한 형식이며 아치 중에 미관이 뛰어난 교량으로 손꼽힌다.

Those arches on the Natchez Trace Bridge are built up of reinforced concrete box sections .. In a type called “segmented post-tension” … Much as was used on the Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway … Maybe the two federal parkways got together on these engineering masterpieces … ??
