세계 청소년 창의력 올림피아드 교량부문 수상

파주 검산초 학생들이 세계 청소년 창의력 올림피아드(Destination ImagiNation® Global Finals 2005!)에서 초등부 특별상인 ‘르네상스상’을 수상했다는군요. 어른보다 낫군요.

Renaissance Award : Rhim Kyung Bae, Korea. Two nations, two cultures, linked by one bridge. A bridge where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. An architectural piece of art so incredibly intricate, one hated to crush it. The team combined the sturdiness of the classic Brooklyn bridge with the new the new Japanese engineering techniques. The ‘natural brains’ from Korea are to be congratulated for their elegantly crafted creative bridge.
