움직이는 교량의 종류 – 승개교

양쪽 교각에 탑을 만들어 그 상부에 도르래를 달고, 교체의 무게는 추(錘)에 의해 평형을 이루게 하면서 탑을 따라 와이어로프로 감아 올리는 형식.

쉽게 말해서 교량을 수직으로 들어 올리는 형식이다. 영어로는 Lift Bridge라 한다. 이와는 반대 개념의 형식으로는 배가 지나갈 수 있게 잠수하는 교량인 잠수교(submersible bridge) 형식도 있다.
