In these bridges, instead of economy, we find extravagance. Instead of clean and efficient load paths, we find flows of forces that are indirect and inefficient. 새해가 시작되었다. 지난 한 해는 잊고 다시 새로운 시작을 각오하는 의미에서 이에 맞는 격언이나 문구 중 bridge가 들어가는 것을 를 찾아 보았는데 “It is all water under the bridge”라는 영어 문구가 마음에 든다. 우리 말로 굳이 번역하자면 “다 지난 일이야” 정도로 해석이 가능하다. 지난 일에 대한 ‘반추’도 중요하지만 지금은 지난 일을 잊고 새로운 출발을 할 때이다. 희망찬 항해를 꿈꾸며 2008년의 돛을 올린다.
